Description
The Rosenbach Museum & Library was founded in 1954 to preserve the private collection of two brothers, Dr. A.S.W. and Philip Rosenbach. A.S.W. Rosenbach was a collector of manuscripts and rare books while Philip Rosenbach collected fine art and antiques. This collection remains in their beautifully restored townhouse which dates the historic period and allows visitors to experience life in the 18th century.
